He was certainly deceased by 1756 when, on June 10, his widow bought 150 acres on Beaver Creek from Jacob and Barbara Graff. Christian had made some payments on the land but died before a deed was issued. In his will, Christian had directed that the land not be sold and kept for his four children. The will was ruled invalid and Christian died intestate. Jacob Graff received the final payment out of Christian's estate and granted the land to Barbara Schaub (Lancaster County deed D386).
