On April 3, 1762, Johannes sold his share of 150 acres in Martic Township to his mother. This was the same land which his mother had purchased from Jacob Graff. As eldest son, Johannes was entitled to two equal fifth parts of the land, which was considered part of his father's estate. Since Johannes' younger brother Martin had died, he was also entitled to an equal share, along with his other brothers, of his deceased brother Martin's estate.
On May 15, 1762, Johannnes bought 157 acres in Donegal Township and moved there with his wife Elizabeth.
Johannes died in 1783, and letters of administration for his estate were given to his widow, to his brother Henrich, and to John Kornhas. A final distribution was made on June 3, 1789. Change: 8 Oct 2006 Time: 10:15:07.
