A U.S. Armyveteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion Post 34.He was a member of Lancaster Typographical Union 70, Ross Street UnitedMethodist Church and the Artisans. Surviving are a daughter, Joan C.Kilbourne of Leola; a son, Glenn W. of Lancaster; two brothers, Roy ofLewisburg and Warren Z. of Roswell, N.M.; a sister, Ruth Walker of Bryan,Ohio; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
