Deaths
Antaya - In Attleboro, October 22, 1972, John B. Jr. Husband of the late Helena G. (MacDonald) Antaya.
Residence, 29 Natalie Drive formerly of Union St. relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass at St Mark Church, Stanley St., Attleboro Falls Wednesday morning, October 25 at 10 o'clock. Calling hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers is is suggested contributions be made to the Attleboro Area Association of Retarted children. Arrangments by the Patrick J. Duffy Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street.

John B. Antaya Jr.
Attleboro - John B. Antaya, Jr. of 29 Natalie Dr., died Sunday, Oct, 22, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
His wife Mrs. Helena G. (McDonald) Antaya preceded him in death. He was a native and life long resident of Attleboro, and the son of the late John B. Antaya Sr. and Mary Louise (Pellissey) Antaya.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth O'Keefe of Attleboro and Mrs. Francis (Hope) McCaffery of Bridgewater; Two sons, John B. Antaya, III and Donald Antaya both of Attleboro; 24 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Heger, Mrs. Aura Green and Miss Rose Antaya, R.N. all of Attleboro; two brothers, Adrian Antaya of Attleboro and Albert Antaya of Ware, and several nieces and nephews.
During World War II he was a member of the Attleboro Rationing Board. He was a life mamber and former officer of the Attleboro Lodge of Elks and he held membership in St. John's Council Knights of Columbus. He was a communicant of St. Mark's Church of Attleboro Falls.
In 1948 in conjunction with his two sons, he founded Antaya Brothers, and was an officer and director of that firm up to the time of his death.
Mr. Antaya was employed at General Findings Division of Leach and Garner Co. as a forman retiring In 1952 after 30 years service.
A memorial Mass will be sung at St. Mark's church, Attleboro Falls, on Wednesday at 10 a. m.
Buried in St Johns Cemetery, Attleboro, Bristol, Massachusetts.
