Town, 65 km from Palencia. Dating back to pre-Roman and Roman times. The ruined castle here was the site of Dona Urraca's death in early 1101.

A Roman villa with 1600 square meters of mosaics was found 3.5 km from town. The gothic church of San Miguel in town is from the 15th Century. Latitude: 42.52193. Longitude: -4.73298.
