King of Badajoz and Lamego, father of Zadan Aben Huim.
Badajoz had been ruled by the freed slave Sabur until his death in 1022. His minister Ibn al-Aftas took power. Assuming the title Al-Mansur Billah (Victorious by God), he ruled a peaceful kingdom until his death, keeping the Abbadids of Seville at bay.
Now Zadan Aben Huim, son of Huim Alboazem, the King thereof, was mightier than all the Kings who had reigned before him in Lamego, and he had peopled many places from the Douro even to the rivers Tavora and Vouga.
